The navigation tree

A flat list of nodes, each naming its parent — the client assembles the tree. A node with no path is a group header rather than a link.

No permission, only a session and an active casino: the console needs its own navigation to draw itself, and hiding the menu from someone who cannot edit it protects nothing while breaking the sidebar.
